Sarah Phillips is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who earned her Master’s in Nursing from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. Prior to this achievement, Sarah served as a Registered Nurse for nearly a decade in the Emergency department caring for patients with all diagnoses. She found she was particularly effective in working with her patients and their families, bringing a sense of peace in the great unknown inherent in the emergency setting.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Sarah has cared for patients in the Primary Care, Palliative and Hospice Care and Assisted Living/Skilled Nursing Care settings. She is a Certified ADHD Professional ADHD-CCSP. Sarah has spent her life in pursuit of helping others. Her passion within healthcare has always been in partnering with both her patients and their support systems to minimize symptoms of illness by helping them discover their strengths in managing their chronic and/or acute illnesses. Her aim is to see her patients defined not their diagnoses but rather by their hopes and dreams.
When not serving as a Nurse Practitioner, she is a wife and home-school mom of 3 great kids. Though there is not a lot of free time in her week, she enjoys reading, running, being artistic, listening to music and traveling.
