Sarah Gardner is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She started her career as a registered nurse in 2006 and has worked in a number of different settings including Women’s Health and Sports Medicine (she even worked with the Golden State Warriors NBA team!). Since becoming a nurse practitioner in 2013 she has gravitated toward her love of Psychiatry and determined that this is where she feels she is able to make the most difference for people to live their best lives. She enjoys thinking of her relationship with her patients as a decision-making partnership and takes a holistic approach to address concerns as they relate to the entire person. She believes that all people deserve access to high quality mental health care and a chance to align their personal goals for wellbeing with their reality. In her free time, Sarah enjoys working out in the gym (she was even a competitive bodybuilder at one time), doing puzzles, and playing outside with her kids.
Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what is going to happen next. It is a Delicious Ambiguity. -Gilda Radner
