ABOUT Sarah Diroff

Sarah Diroff is a double board-certified nurse practitioner with specialties in family medicine and psychiatric mental health care. She started her nursing career as a medical surgical registered nurse when she was 28, and soon after obtained her certification in medical surgical nursing. While working as a certified registered nurse in diverse areas including cardiology, progressive care, and COVID units, Sarah continued towards her master’s degree while traveling to several hospitals across the county to help in time of need. She worked seven months of the most crucial time during the COVID pandemic in a crisis facility while studying for her graduate degree. After she finished her first master’s in nursing, she then continued her schooling for her psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certification. Sarah’s training has given her the experience in both large metropolitan areas and rural areas with limited access to health care. In her free time, she enjoys working out, salsa dancing with friends, traveling, and indulging in sushi. Her passion to help others feel better mentally and physically, has led her to improve access to mental health care while increasing awareness about the importance of “making your mental health a priority.”
