Sara Thompson is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University, after receiving an undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Rochester. Sara has over five years of experience working as a nurse, with the majority of that time spent in a psychiatric emergency room at a level one trauma center. There, she was recognized with a company-wide award for her compassion for patients, as she went above and beyond to help the diverse client population served by that emergency room. She is passionate about Cerebral’s approach to improving access to mental health care. In Sara’s free time, she enjoys all water activities and spoiling her two cats.
