Sandra Medakovich is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She started her career as a nurse in the ER over 10 years ago, and subsequently worked in primary care in order to help prevent the physical and mental health conditions she saw in the hospital. She received her Master’s in Nursing from McGill University and her Post-Master’s Nurse Practitioner degree from University of Toronto. Seeing that mental health issues are universal across multiple states and countries, and realizing that mental health impacts everything else in a person’s life, she uses her compassion, openness, and non-judgemental nature to partner with patients to improve their lives via mental health. She believes in empowering people to be an integral part of the decisions involving their health, and enjoys being able to provide this in a way that’s convenient for patients and made for the modern-day world! In her free time, you can find her cooking up a storm in the kitchen or enjoying walks by the water.
