Samantha Simpson received her Associates of Nursing degree in 2013 and her Bachelors of Nursing in 2014. The bulk of her hospital experience is the ICU where she learned wanted to do more to keep people out the hospital. She went back to school and received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Pittsburg State University in 2019. Since then she has been working in primary care in rural Kansas in an underserved low income community. She spent the last couple of years taking care of all age groups and has found that mental health is the key to good health. Everyone deserves access to quality mental health care and this is something that she's passionate about.
