Dr. Rose Lee Samples is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She began her career as a nurse 20 years ago working in medical surgical care, surgery, emergency medicine and trauma flight. She went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Creighton University. She started her nurse practitioner career serving as a Captain for the Air Force where she provided medical and mental health care to veterans, active-duty members and their family. During her time in the Air Force she was selected as Nurse Practitioner of the Year in 2019 because of her contributions to improving healthcare in the military. She has experience treating depressive, anxiety, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and eating disorders. She approaches each patient with compassion and understanding and believes that everyone should have access to high-quality medical and mental health care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, 4 dogs and learning new skills such as house remodeling.
