Rebecca Gonzalez is board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She started her career as a RN in ICU, PICU, pediatric ER. She then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatry/Mental Health. Rebecca has had internships in child/adolescent psychiatry and an adult long-term inpatient community mental health hospital. Most recently, she has worked in an outpatient community mental health clinic for adolescents and adults as well as an adult substance use disorder program. Her training and work experience in rural communities has energized her to follow her passion to reach those who are encountering barriers to access mental health services due to various socioeconomic determents of health and to instill hope. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, being out on a lake, hiking trials, and practicing yoga.
