ABOUT Randi Votava

Randi Votava is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She started her nursing profession with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a Minor in Psychology on an Oncology/Renal/Medical Unit in a hospital setting in ND. She continued to work in a variety of specialties, OB-GYN, Nursing Management, Special Care Nursery, Postpartum Care, Nursing and Childbirth Education, as a Registered Nurse in both clinic and hospital settings within the states of Minnesota and Michigan.
She then went on to pursue an advanced practice nursing degree and received her Master of Science in Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in a many diverse areas including: High Risk Breast Cancer Coordinator, Family Practice, Radiation Oncology, Pediatrics, and Management. Currently, she has combined her experience and expertise and pursuing her love of education. She accepted a nursing faculty position as a nursing instructor at a community college for ADN and LPN students.
Her training experiences in a variety of specialty areas in both clinic and hospital settings, along with her passion to help individuals obtain their optimal physical and mental health, personal health challenges have ignited a passion to provide accessible and quality mental health care. She is adamant about breaking the stigma associated with accessing care for mental health.
She enjoys family time, reading, crafting, cooking, gardening, walking her dog, playing piano, cuddling with her fur babies, kayaking, bike riding, or putting a challenging puzzle together.
