ABOUT Paule Joseph

Paule Joseph, PhD, CRNP is a board-certified nurse practitioner. Dr. Joseph has a Master's of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Pace University, an AAS in Nursing at Hostos Community College, and a BSN from the College of New Rochelle. She earned her Ph.D. in Nursing with a focus in Genomics from the University of Pennsylvania and conducting her research at The Monell Chemical Senses Center. Dr. Paule Joseph completed a Workforce Diversity Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Institute of Nursing Research. In 2017, she was appointed as Assistant Clinical Investigator and Chief of the Sensory Science and Metabolism Unit (SenSMet) in the NINR Division of Intramural Research and in 2019 a clinician scientist. She has worked in many diverse areas including Rehabilitation Medicine, Gastroenterology, Addiction Medicine, and Psychiatry. Her training experiences caring for individuals in both large metropolitan areas and very rural areas with limited access to health care have ignited her passion to provide access to affordable, quality health care no matter where a patient may be located. In her free time, you can find her with her family (partners and 2 kids), doing science, yoga, reading and traveling to do philanthropic initiatives.
