Padma Linga is a board-certified nurse practitioner. Padma completed her Registered Nursing Degree from Saginaw Valley State university and worked in the cardiology unit and later worked on an orthopedic-neurology unit for almost 10 years. She then went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing and worked primarily in the Psychiatry department as a nurse practitioner providing inpatient and outpatient services. She formulated mental health assessments and treatment plans for acute and chronic mental health needs in outpatient and inpatient settings. She also ordered psychotropic medications and provided psychotherapy. She has participated in several conferences and discussions with psychiatrists, psychologists, nursing staff and members of therapy teams to develop comprehensive evaluations to provide maximum benefits to each patient. She has treated ADHD, ODD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, neurocognitive disorders, and substance abuse problems in individuals of all ages. Padma developed a passion for mental health career to provide access to affordable, quality mental health care no matter where a patient may be located. She is currently pursuing a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree and will graduate in the Fall of 2023. In her free time, she likes to enjoy spending time with her family and her Pet dog Hazel.
