Dr. Opeyemi Ojo is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She has 8 years’ experience managing patients with mental health disorders in multiple health settings. Dr. Opeyemi Ojo started her career as a Registered Nurse in the medical surgical unit and then graduated with her Master’s in Nursing in 2013. She is passionate about access to quality and cost-effective healthcare for underserved populations, especially individuals with mental health disorders. Her long-term desire for learning motivated her to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2018 at the University of Alabama. Dr. Ojo currently works as an adjunct faculty at the University of Phoenix and Grand Canyon University teaching in the registered nurse and nurse practitioner programs. In her spare time, she enjoys event planning and designing, singing in the choir, watching movies, online shopping, and traveling.
