ABOUT Olusola Olagbami

Olusola, Is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner PMHNP who is passionate about psychiatry and her patients and has made empathy, compassion, encouragement and hard work a commitment for the past 7 years working with patients across the lifespan and in different practice settings. Before this she has a wide range of experience in different areas of nursing including medical-surgical, home health, long term care and pediatric home health. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at UTA Arlington and her Master’s degree in Psychiatry at Walden University. She began her psychiatry career in a small private hospital in Dallas Texas from where she transitioned to the biggest hospital in Tarrant County where she worked in the psychiatric emergency center which is the only one in the county and later in the psychiatry inpatient hospital for the past 7 years. She is committed to ensure the total wellbeing of every patient and believes in caring for the all the needs of a patient, physical, emotional, spiritual, to ensure a healthy mental health. She is a compassionate, kind and has perfected the art of empathetic listening and therapeutic communication to give her patients a well-rounded experience. She is a children’s bible study teacher at her local church and loves to listen to musicand dance in her spare time. As a provider at Cerebral, she will be excited to be a part of the team that is committed to improving access to mental health services and meeting the overall needs of every patient.
