Olawande Awopetu is a board-certified psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. He began his career as PCT in child/adolescent psychiatry unit. Olawande obtained his Master’s degree as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing. He has worked in different parts of the hospital including ICU, medical and surgical unit, Addiction, Child/Adolescent psychiatric unit and Adult psychiatric unit.
His passion for mental health and the therapeutic relationship he shares with his client is exceptional. At his leisure time, he likes to use the gym, visit botanical garden as a form of therapy and seek the wellness of family and friends.
