Miranda Bellantoni is a family nurse practitioner, who has the pleasure of treating patients of all ages with a wide variety of conditions, including mental health. She realized that she can't adequately care for a person's physical illnesses unless the mental aspect was also cared for and nurtured. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a person find their best self again and rise above the restraints of their anxiety or depression. She believes that the key to successful patient-provider relationship is open and honest communication This model of care produces the best outcomes for my patients.
In Miranda's spare time, she travels to developing countries for medical mission trips. She firmly believes she has a responsibility to share knowledge and skills with those less fortunate and who do not have the same access to healthcare resources as we do in the United States. When she is not at work or on mission trips, Miranda loves traveling for pleasure, the great outdoors, and spending time with her German Shepherd dog, Konan, and her mixed breed dog, Maia.
“What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor, and more unashamed conversation.” — Glenn Close
