Michelle Welch is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She started her career working as a nursing assistant in a hospital. She went on to complete her Registered Nursing Degree and worked in long term care facilities and hospitals across the country. She then went on to receive a Doctor of Nursing Degree and served as Vice President of Nursing teaching and managing nursing programs on multiple campuses. Michelle has worked in many diverse areas including long term care, medical surgical, cardiology, preventative medicine, women's health, and psychiatry. Her experience in areas where there is limited access to healthcare has ignited a passion to provide access to high quality, affordable mental healthcare for all. In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading, playing with her dog and spending time with her family.
