ABOUT Michelle Arrojo

Michelle Arrojo is a board-certified nurse practitioner and graduate educator, practicing and volunteering in her community for over 20 years, across a variety of settings. She’s worked with patient populations ranging from newborns, to end of life care. In an effort to be the best caregiver she can be, she has continually built on her education. She distinguished herself in her Doctorate program, by earning the Excellence in Academic & Clinical Performance Award, and her scholarly project on adolescent mental health screening was published in the Pediatric Nursing Journal. Two decades of caregiving, with thousands of patient interactions, gives Michelle the perspective and experience to positively affect her community, while satisfying her profound sense of duty to the overall health and wellness of her patients. In her free time, she enjoys the piano, tennis, and traveling with her young children.

There is no normal life that is free of pain. It’s the very wrestling with our problems that can be the impetus for our growth. - Fred Rogers
