Michaela Malko is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She started her nursing career in 2010 working in a variety of hospital settings, most of which were in emergency departments. It was in the ED setting and caring for patients from all walks of life in mental health crisis that led to her fall in love with psychiatric medicine. She obtained her Master’s of Science in nursing while also working full time in the height of the global pandemic. During this time she saw a rapidly increasing need in those around her for expanded access to affordable mental health care. She is passionate about delivering the highest quality of mental health care to those who need it in the comfort of their own homes. In her free time she enjoys many creative outlets such as creative portrait photography, painting, drawing, and writing.
