Michael Hawthorne is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a post-grad psychiatric nurse practitioner. He started his career working as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Michael completed his Registered Nursing Degree and continued to work in inpatient psychiatry and later in Neuropsychiatry. He then received a Master of Nursing at South University. He then completed a post-grad certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Regis College. Michael is aware that each area of practice has its many challenges. Still, in the role of a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, he wants to be that lifeline for individual’s dependent on mental interventions in managing their treatments to ensure optimal maintenance of life. In his free time, you can find Michael managing his 75-gallon freshwater fish tank or engaging in coop play with his friends on Xbox.
