Miakoda Wolin-Collins is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner originally from San Francisco, CA. She began her nursing career in 2011 first graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado at Denver and then progressing on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tampa
She has since worked in multiple hospitals and clinics, as well as taught at the community college level. Her work experiences and volunteer medical missions in Palestine and Jordan have all highlighted how inextricably linked the physical and emotional are to our overall health. One cannot be addressed without incorporating the other.
In her free time she studies the Functional Medicine approach, dotes on her cats and tries to find ample time to backpack and hike.
