Melodie Needham is a board certified Nurse Practitioner. She started her career as a combat medic in the United States Army at age 21 during the Gulf War. Melodie went on to complete her Registered Nursing degree in 2002 and started working in emergency rooms in Maine. She then went on to receive her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2013. She has worked in various family practice settings across Maine since. Her training experiences in the very rural areas of Maine with limited access to health care and mental health services has produced a drive in her to assist in improving access to quality care. In her free time you may find her wondering on an ocean beach, enjoying the rhythmic crashing of the waves.
There's nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it's sent away. - Sarah Kay
