Melissa Verdecchia is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Aurora University, and then went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Illinois University. In addition, she completed an opioid addiction training fellowship through Rush University Medical Center’s OUD Treatment ECHO program. She has worked in both large metropolitan hospitals as well as outpatient centers providing patient-centered care to people from infancy through adulthood. Melissa has a passion for helping people reach their mental health goals, utilizing knowledge and experience gained over twenty years of patient care. In her free time, Melissa enjoys gardening, reading, and enjoying a good cup of coffee on her patio.
