Melissa Lee Ann Brown is a board – certified Family Nurse Practitioner having over 5 years in family practice and internal medicine.
She started her career working as nursing assistant in the hospital setting at 19. She then pursued her degree as a registered nurse. She spent the initial part of her career in the intensive care unit.
She then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing in Education working primarily with Mesa Community College and Grand Canyon University helping to prepare future RN’s. She taught students in many areas of health. This prompted her to pursue her degree as a family nurse practitioner where she can be back at bedside holistically caring for patients.
Her training and experiences have allowed her to have a variety of experiences. She has worked in specialty gastroenterology and internal medicine. Working in the community and seeing a great need for access to care inspired me want to utilize telemedicine and provide access affordable, quality mental health care no matter where a patient may be located.
In her free time she loves spending time reading, watching movies and getting outside with her family and pets.
