Melinda Heiligmann is a board certified nurse practitioner. She began her career working the Emergency Department of a busy inner city hospital as a registered nurse. She then went on to obtain her nurse practitioner license and began working in a substance abuse treatment center and urgent cares in both Ohio and Washington. Melinda received her Master of Science in Nursing from Mt. Carmel College of Nursing and is currently enrolled in psychiatric classes at the University of Cincinnati. Her personal observations and patient interactions during the pandemic have brought the current lack of access to mental health care to the forefront of her attention. In her free time, Melinda loves watching her kids and the Columbus Blue Jackets play hockey and is an amateur potter.
