Melanie Sharpley is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She started her career working as a registered nurse on a 50-bed psychiatric adolescent unit at the age of 22. She then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama while working as charge nurse at a newly designed inpatient facility.
Serving under-represented patients in the Las Vegas area is her passion and improving mental health care access to all communities has always been her top priority. She has provided efficient and culturally competent care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation. In her free time, you can find her scoping out new restaurants, endlessly scrolling social media content, and watching her favorite gaming streamers.
