Mary Case is a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than five years of experience treating mental health conditions. She began her career as a registered nurse working in an Alzheimer's and dementia skilled nursing care unit. After finishing her Master of Science of Nursing, she went on to work at a rural primary care office. At that location, the need for mental health care was overwhelming; many patients waited 12-18 months in order to see a psychiatric specialist. Because of this, Mary is passionate about increasing access to affordable, quality mental health care. This passion is what brought her to Cerebral. When she is not seeing patients, she likes to take walks in the woods with her chiweenie (half chihuahua, half dachshund), Huckleberry, and her miniature dachshund, Watermelon. Her bearded dragon, Mildred, wants to join in on these walks when she gets a little bit bigger!
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says, "I'll try again tomorrow." ~ Mary Anne Radmacher
