Marilyn Rankin is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner; she started her career as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy at the age of 18. Marilyn went on to complete her Registered Nurse Degree and worked in multiple specialties in hospitals and outpatient clinics across the country. She then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner, and served as a provider in a Family Medicine Clinic. She has worked in many diverse areas including Primary Care, Urgent Care, Pain Management, Women's Health, and Psychiatry. Her training experiences have led to a passion for mental health, because it involves treating the patient as a whole person not a disease process, with the belief that good health starts with the mind. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, reading and watching sports.
