Lucinda McCartney is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. She began her healthcare training during her senior year of high school and earned a certification as a Medical Office Assistant. Soon after graduation, she trained as a Certified Nursing assistant and began working to put herself through nursing school. Several years after completing her post-master Nurse Practitioner certification, she returned to her undergrad university for a position of Assistant Professor of Nursing at Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia. After recognizing the strong connection between Law and Mental Health, and wanting to pursue a terminal degree, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University School of Law.
