Loreen Williams is a board-certified nurse practitioner with 29 years of experience in healthcare. After nearly two decades as a cardiac critical care nurse, she obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst in 2015 and began her work as a nurse practitioner. Her practice in chronic disease management and correctional facility (prison) medicine highlighted the significant need for improved access to quality mental health care for both young and old alike. Loreen is down to earth, easy to talk to, and wants to help. She looks forward to bringing her knowledge, compassion, and understanding to the Cerebral community.
