Lisa Parker is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She started her career as a RN with multiple medical mission trips through MMI to 3rd world countries providing medical care to underserved populations and working on psychiatric and general medical units at the hospital where she developed a passion for people suffering from mental disorders. In 2015, she received her Nurse Practitioner degree from Concordia University of Wisconsin. She then worked for a private practice and long-term /rehabilitation facility working with patients suffering from PTSD, Dementia, chronic pain, anxiety, major depressive disorder, ADHD, and multiple comorbidities. Lisa’s experience opened her eyes to the undeniable need for more affordable and easily-accessed mental health care and wanted to be part of this change by specializing in mental health medicine. Lisa believes that without good mental health there is no “health” as the physical and mental always go together. She believes in holistic care, and formulating plans that are tailored to the individual to reach their optimal self. Lisa enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time outside feeding her love for nature and sunny days, sipping coffee, listening to podcasts, spending time with friends, and running after her one-year-old son Caleb.
