Lauren Vree is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She started her career as a licensed vocational nurse working with the dually diagnosed at a medical detox program in San Francisco. She went on to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and then her Master’s Degree in Nursing. As a registered nurse and now as a nurse practitioner she has worked with many diverse populations and settings including outpatient clinics, nursing homes, occupational health clinics, and home health and hospice. Lauren’s experiences working with the homeless along with other vulnerable populations have prepared her to provide culturally competent, empathic care, that is both affordable and patient centered. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, traveling (when it’s safe), and cooking.
