Kimone Johns is a board certified nurse practitioner. She started her career as a registered nurse in Telemetry, Cardiac, Emergency, and Dialysis Units in several out patient settings and hospitals in New York City. Then she went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Nursing and started her NP career in crisis intervention programs in Richmond, VA. Working in a sector of psychiatry she realized that many patient are still limited with access to healthcare and that there is still major gap between healthcare providers and patients around the globe as a whole; not just in her experience. She realized that there is a passion in her to want to be the change that could not be caged; she needed to do more and be there for our mental health population. She wanted to provide compassionate-quality care to all. She wanted to provide that approachable care that will make patients more comfortable and trusting, which will help build good rapport between every patient she encounters. That is her passion and her duty as a provider. In her free time, she likes watching movies, eating ice cream, and learning new things. Fun Fact: her favorite color is pink and she loves to travel.
