Kellie is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). She is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to adolescents and adults. Kellie uses a patient-centered approach to treatment and is passionate about educating her patients on multiple treatment options and encourages patients to be an active participant in their care. She possesses strong clinical skills and utilizes evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, observation, and intuition.
In addition to clinical practice, Kellie has been an adjunct and associate professor and nurse educator. She has worked in both military and civilian inpatient and outpatient facilities. Kellie is skilled in all aspects of mental health and has special interest and advanced training in trauma informed care, suicide prevention, and interpersonal and occupational health.
