Keiosha Townsend is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She started her career as a medical assistant and went on to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Keiosha received her Doctor of Nurse Practice degree from Troy University. She has six years of working in internal medicine, palliative care, and chronic care management. She gained her experience and knowledge in treating mental health disorders while working in her previous fields. Her training and experience in rural areas with limited resources and psychiatric specialists breed her passion for providing quality mental health care to patients while removing the stigma attached to mental health. In her free time, Keiosha enjoys running and working out.
