Keeley Phelps is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She began her nursing career over 20 years ago, and did work in multiple areas of health care which did include: long term care, acute care, cardiac care, maternal-newborn care, labor & delivery, and all this experience has broadened the scope of experience in addressing multiple mental health care needs. Her most recent experience included addressing the mental health care needs in smaller rural health care facility with limited access to mental health professionals. She has expanded her training with cognitive behavioral training and goal setting, which helps in addressing those with various mental health issues that does include, depression, anxiety, ADHD, postpartum depression, bipolar depression, sleep disorders, and addictive disorders. Her experience both personally and professionally provides a keen ability to sympathize and empathize with her patients and she has a strong commitment in expanding her interpersonal relationships with her patients.
