Kayla Herren is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Iowa. She started her career working as a psychiatric nurse on an inpatient psychiatric unit in 2016. She worked on many inpatient units throughout Iowa and Missouri as a travel nurse. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Kayla has always been passionate about mental health, improving access to quality mental health, and being an advocate for her patients. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her family.
