Kathleen Zeledon is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She began her nursing career in a long-term care facility, monitoring psychotropic drug usage, in a geriatric population with dementia and mental health conditions and various medical co-morbidities.
She then went on to receive a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. As a nurse practitioner she has worked in women’s health and in urgent care and has experience in the management of depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, and menopausal-related depression.
Kathleen grew up in a rural region with limited access to health care and she is excited to have the opportunity to provide increased access to affordable, quality mental health care to all patients, no matter where a patient may be located.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, going to the beach, camping, horseback riding, and reading a great mystery thriller!
