Katherine Washington is an American Nurses Certification Center (ANCC) board-certified nurse practitioner with 24 years of experience within healthcare. She began her career in 1998 with the completion of her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. As a registered nurse, Katherine became a Certified Nurse in NICU while providing care within PICU, MICU, and SICU. Over the past 24 years she has been a travel nurse, providing care for primarily the underserved populations. After receiving her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2015, she practiced exclusively in the rural community, inner city underserved areas, and the indigent populations. During this tenure, she collaborated with family medicine and psychiatric certified physicians to deliver holistic care no matter the financial status or location of the individual. Her passion emphasizes the gift of servitude as a provider; promoting mental wellness via this telehealth platform. She also utilizes collaborative care and medication management services. Her goal is to ensure one can receive behavioral healthcare with assurance of excellent service, which will pave the way for the client to achieve enhanced success and outcomes in all facets of life. In her free time, she is with her family, they enjoy spending time in the sun, meditating and gardening.
