Karen Paster is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She started her nursing career working on a hospital medical-surgical unit and has since gone on to work in home health, surgical services, and as an assistant director of nursing at a skilled nursing facility. She decided to further her nursing education and attended Simmons University in Boston, MA, for her MSN. As a nurse practitioner, her experience includes mental health, COVID clinics, men's health, chronic pain management, and hospital services. She has worked in telemedicine since 2020 and has found this to be rewarding in that it provides access for quality healthcare for everyone.
In her free time, you can find Karen enjoying Broadway musicals, swimming, reading fiction, and socializing with friends and family around the fire table on her front porch.
