Kadija Jallowh, DNP, FNP-BC, completed her Doctorate at George Mason University in 2015 and is currently working on her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification. She has been in Family Practice for 6 years with experience in general psychiatry including Geriatrics. She also an adjunct Faculty at George Mason University. She is the founder and Executive of a Community Health organization, a non-profit that organizes medical missions to Sierra leone. As a family nurse practitioner, she recognizes the importance of integrating mental health into patient centered care. Drawing from her on own personal experiences of surviving war and being displaced from her home country, she understands and is passionate about the importance of access to high quality access to mental health care. Kadija is married with two beautiful children. She loves family, the outdoors, music, and reading.
