Julia Daining is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She started her career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse in women and family domestic violence shelters, providing care and stabilization during states of transition and crisis, and then in community health, promoting health and well-being for diverse populations. During this time she also worked towards her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of Washington, after which she completed a one-year nurse practitioner residency in primary care with specialty rotations in psychiatry and addiction. Her years working with diverse populations opened her eyes to the interconnectedness between physical and mental health and the tremendous need for accessible and quality mental health care. For fun, Julia enjoys singing loudly in her car, yoga in the sun, and finding the perfect camping spot in the middle of nowhere.
