Judy Johnson-Howey is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing in 1996, earning academic honor of "Excellence in Clinical Nursing." She earned her master of science in nursing, graduating summa cum laude. Judy’s nursing career began 25 years ago with an extensive background with the maternal-child health population. She has also served patients in the public health sector, case management, private practice, and worked with medication-assisted treatment for substance and alcohol abuse.
Judy’s training includes family psychiatric care to provide care across the lifespan, treating anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, neurobehavioral disorders (ADHD), neurocognitive disorders (dementia), sleep disorders, and everything in between. She embeds a compassionate approach into the treatment plan. Mental health is not just a job for Judy, it is a career she is passionate about.
