ABOUT Josephine (Jo) Viduya

Josephine Viduya is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner.
She started her career working as an Respiratory Therapist for 15 years and transition to an Intensive Care Registered Nurse from Level 1 o Level 3 hospital. She often takes on challenging patient with mental illness background and finds herself connecting with them in a positive manner.

She then went on to pursue her Master of Science in Nurse Practitioner and served as Telehealth Coordinator for the Department of Veterans Affairs. She has worked in many diverse areas including Cardiology, Urgent Care, Preventative Medicine, Women's Health, and Psychiatry which made her more proficient and taking care of veterans and non-veterans general.

Her training experiences in both large metropolitan areas and very rural areas with limited access to health care have ignited a passion to provide access to affordable, quality mental health care no matter where a patient may be located. She strongly supports telemedicine for the patient's comfort and quick access to mental healthcare.

In her free time, you can find her in the gym chasing to lower her body fat for the next 3 months since she cannot resist chocolate truffles after every meal.
