ABOUT Jocelyn S. Arackal

Jocelyn Arackal is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Northeastern Illinois University. From there, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Southern Illinois, Edwardsville. As a nurse, Jocelyn worked in a variety of inpatient settings, including Oncology/Hematology, Neurology, General Medical, ICU/TCU, and Level I Trauma -Emergency Room. She later pursued her MSN in Nursing Education at Olivet Nazarene University. She worked as a clinical educator with Chamberlain University, Harper Community College, Ambria, and Dominican University. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner through South University Georgia in 2019. As a nurse practitioner, she worked as a house NP at a long-term care/rehabilitation, worked as a hospitalist, and in her most current role, works in an urgent care setting. She is a dedicated professional, benefiting from experience working effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. She strives to be resourceful and responsive to change by achieving collective objectives in the caring and development of patients. She possesses a developed patient centered philosophy of care. She is a focused professional who is committed to safeguarding the medical needs, comfort, and emotional well-being of patients under her care.
