Jennifer Peguese is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She earned her Bachelors in Nursing at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY and her Masters in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University. She has worked as a registered nurse for 8 years in areas such as med/surg as well as pediatrics and women’s health. She then began practicing in Pain Management where she recognized a need for more obtainable access to mental health services and its importance to overall health and well-being. Jennifer is devoted to providing access to her clients in an atmosphere that promotes understanding and compassion while dispelling the stigma and myths regarding mental health. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 4 children, as well as her 2 grandchildren. She also enjoys drawing, although she readily admits she isn’t very good at it.
You don’t have to be positive all the time. It’s perfectly okay to feel sad, angry, annoyed, frustrated, scared and anxious. Having feelings doesn’t make you a negative person. It makes you human. - Lori Deschene
