ABOUT Jacqueline (Jackie) L. Wait

Jacqueline (Jackie) Wait is a nationally certified nurse practitioner who began her medical career as a nursing assistant during college earning an associate degree/RN and a bachelor's degree in nursing. After many years as an RN and raising a family, she went on to complete a master's degree becoming a nurse practitioner. Jackie believes that access to quality mental healthcare is a critical issue and desires to help alleviate this challenge. Fueled by the sudden and unexpected loss of her mother in 2006, she has independently studied extensively on the subjects of mental health, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys hiking, biking, reading, spending time with family, traveling to new places, and riding her equine best friend, Ruby, lovingly named after her mom.

Mental Health affects every aspect of your life. It's not just this neat little issue you can put into a box. - Donna Purser
