Jacksom is a board-certified Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. He started his career working as a psychiatric technician in a mental hospital . Jackson went on to complete his Bachelors of Science Nursing Degree and worked in both acute inpatient and community care in several hospitals across the country.
He then went on to receive a MSN Administration and Later Doctor of philosophy in interdisciplinary Nursing Science. He served as Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor at various colleges, including NKU. He has worked in many diverse areas, including education, medical surgical, and Behavioral Medicine.
His Training and experience in both Urban and rural America have placed a strong passion in him to provide psychiatric patients and their families with therapy and medication assisted treatments that is informed by the latest best practice that is safe, and affordable regardless of their current location.
In his free time, you can find him in the field-track keeping the marathon alive, bowling with friend to cool down the nerves after a busy day or dancing to the tune of amapiano dance to keep the waist flexible.
