Jackie Dixon is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She started her career caring for others at a very young age. Jackie completed her Registered Nursing Degree and worked in pediatric, intensive care, and the emergency department in a rural hospital in Dallas County. In addition, she served as a home health nurse and school nurse. She later obtained a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Family Nurse practitioner. She was working in a rural hospital and a rural health clinic, where resources for mental health were minimal. Because resources are very limited in the rural community, she developed a passion for helping people overcome their mental illness challenges. She spends her free time maintaining her flowers and visiting family.
