ABOUT Ifeyinwa (Ify) Utoh-Ofodile

Balancing one’s mental and physical well-being is essential for a holistic view. The ability to care for people has always been my passion and the driving force that led to my professional pursuit. Ms. Ify is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner; she started her career as a licensed practical nurse in a mental institution over 20 years ago. Ify obtained her registered nursing degree and worked in various health care settings across the country. Ify then embarked on achieving an MSN in nursing. She worked in different departments, including but not limited to psychiatry, medical-surgical, and telemetry. She also performed administrative duties/supervisory roles. Ify’s vast experiences in large organizations and rural settings have broadened her horizon and ignited a strong passion for providing quality and exceptional care irrespective of the patient’s physical location. In her downtime, she loves to garden, spend time with family and enjoy the outdoors.

Mental health…is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going. — Noam Shpancer, PhD
