Originally from Atlanta, GA, Hilary Murphy came to Colorado in 2003 to attend The Colorado College in Colorado Springs. She fell in love with Colorado (and her husband!) and only left briefly to complete a Family Nurse Practitioner program at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She chose the nursing tract because of its integrative approach to treating the whole person and its emphasis on patient-centered care. You’ll find she takes the time to get a very detailed history from you, as she truly believes understanding the whole story will allow us to best work together creating a plan that is as individualized as you are.
She recognizes the impact that mental health has on our physical health, relationships, and every day life. She is glad that you are taking this step in caring for your mental health, and she feels honored daily that people allow her to be a part of their health journey. She hopes to help you feel like your best self so that you can thrive!
Outside of work, she is on a continuous hunt for the best breakfast burrito in Denver, playing tennis, or more often than not taking advantage of Colorado’s natural playground with her family.
Because you are alive, everything is possible. - Thich Nhat Hanh
